Do you have a passion for creative brand communication and innovation-focused public relations? The Web Intelligence and Visual Analytics SME webLyzard technology and the Generative AI startup Storypact are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our team in Vienna. Help us build a thriving community around state-of-the-art innovations and reach new target groups to grow our business network. 

You will participate in a fast-paced and innovative environment as part of a dynamic and international team. We build award-winning technology showcases for global sustainability organizations such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Climate.gov team of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). We also collaborate with leading media and technology partners across Europe. Many of these projects are supported by the European Union or BMK/FFG. 

Communications and Community Manager

Full-Time or Part-Time Position (w/m/d)

YOUR PROFILE 

  • Background in communication science, public relations, marketing, or a related field of study.
  • Practical work experience in communications, public relations and content creation.
  • Strong communication skills in English and German; proactivity and attention to detail.

YOUR TASKS will focus on several of the following areas:

  • Brand/product positioning; developing a communication plan and consistent visual language.
  • Production of marketing materials such as press releases, product descriptions, etc.
  • Digital media management and content creation (website, social media, newsletter, etc.).
  • Training material and documentation, including tutorial production.
  • Planning and moderating external and internal events.
  • Supporting investor relations by contributing to the vision statement and pitch deck.
  • Providing feedback on the features and usability of SEO and content creation tools.
  • Contributions to EU-funded and national R&D projects, including communication and dissemination work packages and data-driven brand communication use cases.

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience, e.g., EUR 51,500 gross per year (38.5h) for candidates with a recently completed Master’s degree and relevant work experience.
